Friday 25 September 2015

Learning about conservancy in Estonia.

First thing in the morning we went on the sea to take some beautiful pictures.
Leaving our sign on the soil of Estonia.
We were visiting Pärnumaa Recreation Area.
Our guide was talking about how they catch the birds and how they mark them. They showed us birds like rood tits, chiffchaffs etc.
This is how they catch them. If the wind blows from the right direction, then they can catch more than 600 birds every day. On the other hand there may be days when they get only 5 birds.
Then we visited the RMK recreation area.
And after that we had a chance to breathe some fresh air in beautiful Tolkuse bog.
Everyone who wanted could visit the lookout tower.
Family picture!
And finally tasty home-made lunch in our guide's cottage.
